Fledgling Goldfinches

We had a gang of very young Goldfinches on the bird feeders, must be freshly fledged from somewhere! Maybe they were nesting in the hedge...

    All our baby magpies have grown up and flown away for the year. However our cockatoo population seems to have tripled. Must be something to do with the elderly lady across the road feeding them....................
